It seems that the ex CEO and founder of Orthodontic Centers of America, Gaspar Lazzara has run into a bit of a squabble regarding some higher education monetary commitments he will not be able to make.
DENVER - A Florida dentist said he never promised more than $95 million to the University of Colorado for a dental school, accusing the school of jumping to conclusions and saying he was left in the lurch by students."I'm not stroking a check for $95 million over 30 years," Dr. Gasper Lazzara of Jacksonville, Fla., told The Denver Post on Tuesday. "They put that out as a press release without me knowing."
Lazzara is also the current CEO and founder of Orthodontic Education Co and the Imagine Orthodontics Chain. Dr. Lazzara cound not be reached for comment by Dental News Insider.
